Through his involvement with Project Orbis and the World Cataract Foundation, Dr. Hidaji has taught eye surgeons across the globe in countries such as Bangladesh, Mexico, Niger, Peru, and the Philippines. He is an avid fitness enthusiast, meditation teacher, and advocate of balanced organic nutrition.
In his spare time, Dr. Hidaji maintains a permaculture micro-farm on which he and his wife grow their own organic fruits and vegetables, raise livestock, and keep bees.
